Setting up this exhibition took approximately two thirds of a semester. Since we did not want to leave the display cases in the Barham Rotunda empty, we began gave visitors a chance to familiarize with Futurism through a single yet multifold object: a replica of Fortunato Depero’s “bolted book”, Depero Futurista, an artist portfolio originally published in 1927 that is a masterpiece of modernist typography.
